Scope

The Counterfeit Components, entering the supply chain, are causing a huge economic impact in the Electronics Industry. This Symposium and Workshop discusses detection and prevention practices in combatting this problem through an interchange of information of case histories, contributing causes, detection techniques and the actions being taken by manufacturers, distributors, brokers, test labs, and users.

Symposium

The symposium sessions include presentations on numerous cases of counterfeit components and the details of their occurrence and failures, the supply chain contributions, detection methods used to identify them, analysis methods for finding fakes, procurement and management practices for future avoidance.

Workshop

The workshop is for participation of all attendees to discuss the three supply channel procurement approaches and develop a consensus and roadmap of the controls necessary to prevent counterfeits for major categories of EEE parts.

The cutoff date for these rates is November 10. Check in time is 3 PM and checkout is 12 noon. Guests departing early may pay an early departure fee.

Transportation: The Sheraton is only 5 minutes from Los Angeles International Airport and provide complimentary shuttle every 15 minutes. Self parking is available for $13.20 per day, including tax, with in & out privileges.
