Scope
The Counterfeit Components, entering the supply chain, are causing a huge economic impact in the Electronics Industry. This Workshop discusses detection and prevention practices to combat this problem through an interchange of information of case histories, contributing causes, detection techniques and the actions being taken by manufacturers, distributors, brokers, test labs, and users.
Workshop Sessions
The sessions include presentations on numerous cases of counterfeit components and the details of their occurrence and failures, the supply chain contributions, detection methods used to identify them, analysis methods for finding fakes, procurement and management practices for future avoidance. Detail procedures which will be useful to distributors and brokers in avoiding counterfeit components will be presented and discussed.

These rates will be honored 3 days prior and 3 days following the symposium. The cutoff date for these rates is February 14. Check in time is 3 PM and checkout is 12 noon. Guests departing early may pay an early departure fee.
Transportation: The Resort is 17 miles from Orlando International Airport and Mears Shuttle service is available, $19 one way, $31 roundtrip. Reservations not required for arrival, go to Mears booth on ground level. Self parking is complimentary and valet is $8.00 per day.
